Meet the Doctors
Drs. Leone and Vaughn Dr. Paola Leone was born and raised in Bari, Italy, and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Bari, School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class as valedictorian. She obtained her Master's of Science in Dentistry, at Saint Louis University, Center for Advanced Dental Education, specializing in Orthodontics. Dr. Leone is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Leone has published several articles relating to orthodontic treatment, most recently in the "Journal of Clinical Orthodontics," relating to the use of transitional dental implants in orthodontics. In her spare time, Dr. Leone enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and martial arts. Dr. Leone is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Washington State Society of Orthodontists, Washington and King County Dental Associations and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She is also a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Gregory Vaughn was born and raised in Olympia, Washington, and earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound. Dr. Vaughn earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific, in San Francisco, graduating with high honors. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National dental honor society) and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award, for highest clinical scholarship. He completed his post-doctoral residency at the University of California at Los Angeles, specializing in Orthodontics. Dr. Vaughn is an affiliate assistant professor at the University of Washington, Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Vaughn has published several articles relating to orthodontic treatment, most recently in the "American Journal of Orthodontics," relating to the use of Protraction Facemasks to correct Class III malocclusions (under-bites). In his spare time, Dr. Vaughn enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, running and snowboarding. Dr. Vaughn is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Washington State Society of Orthodontists, Washington and King County Dental Associations and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
